I finally had a chance to work on some more landscapes from our Southwest trip. I've posted a new gallery, "Misc Landscapes", that will be home for images from locations that don't warrant their own sub-gallery. The first two images in the gallery are of Shiprock, which is located near the town of the same name about 30 miles west of Farmington, NM. This volcanic plug is on Navajo tribal land.
The other three images are from Horseshoe Bend, which a truly remarkable canyon carved by the Colorado River just outside of Page, AZ. Pictures of this canyon don't do it justice; to stand at the apex of the "horseshoe" and look into the canyon is just amazing.
