It's Been a While...

Well it's been a while since I posted anything here. I didn't really do any photography over the winter, instead keeping busy with work and getting back into inline speedskating.

I did get a chance to do some photography during the spring, including a short trip to Joshua Tree National Park. I've also updated the Glenwood Cemetery gallery with a few images from this year (newest ones are at the top). And over at Majestic Landscape I've added a few new images to the portfolio.

We actually just got back from a trip to the San Juan Mountains in Southwest Colorado, which has become one of our favorite summer destinations. I should get some snapshots and landscape images from that trip up in the next week or so.

 

Fair Park, Dallas

Had a chance to visit and photograph Fair Park during a short visit to Dallas with a couple of other photographer friends. I've never been to the Texas State Fair, but the park there is a pretty neat place. Lots of Art-Deco architecture and statues. To see the gallery click here or on the image above.

Welcome to my weblog

So, I've been meaning to start one of these for a while now but just haven't gotten around to it. On our recent vacation I kept a journal of sorts with the intention of sharing it with friends/family, so this seemed like a good time to put something up. So if you're interested in where we went and what we did on our desert southwest trip, read on. Since I'm posting the entries all at once, I did so in reverse order so that you can read from top to bottom.

Now that I have a blog I'll probably use it to post updates as I get new image galleries up ,or have other news to share. My time is going to be somewhat limited in the near term, so it may take me a bit to get all the image galleries up from our trip. So check back on occasion, or you can subscribe to the feed via RSS or email using the links to the right.

Eventually I may also post some thoughts on photography, camera gear, or a few photoshop tutorials as I have time, but I'll try to use categories so that those not intersted in the tech stuff can ignore those posts.
